Neuro Linguistic Programming
Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) refers to the unconscious processes each person uses to produce their behaviour and therefore their results.
Neuro refers to the nervous system. Our direct experience of the world comes to the brain via our nervous system and five senses. Seeing, hearing, touch, smell, taste…how we process our sensory experiences can effect our conscious and unconscious thoughts.
Linguistic refers to the way we use language to give meaning to what we have experienced through our senses. Communication both verbal and non verbal is how we express our thoughts and feelings.
Programming refers to the consistent way we think and behave that produces our results.
Once we understand how we think, behave and make sense of the world, we can use NLP processes to create a desired change. NLP therapies can help you to make positive choices that change the way you think and feel so that you can achieve the goals you want.
